As a result of findings in previous inspections, and regular reports from Official Visitors, it became evident that there were issues with the supply and quality of clothing and bedding in some correctional facilities.
We inspected three correctional centres and one metropolitan court cell complex. There were at least two visits to each site.
The Inspector makes 21 recommendations. These include systemic and facility specific improvements to the standards and distribution of clothing and bedding in the NSW prison system.
