Inspection of three minimum security correctional centres

We will conduct inspections of three minimum security correctional centres for men operated by Corrective Services New South Wales:

Glen Innes Correctional Centre is located 45 kilometres east of Glen Innes and 615 kilometres north of Sydney in the Northern Tablelands
Mannus Correctional Centre (Tumbarumba) is located 515 kilometres south of Sydney
Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre is located 5 kilometres south of Windsor

Our inspection will focus on:

custodial conditions, including safety and security
treatment, care and wellbeing of inmates, including privacy
rehabilitation of inmates, including programs, education, and preparation for release
reparation through inmate employment
resources and systems, including the staffing and management of each correctional centre.

The Inspector of Custodial Services may consider any other relevant matters in the course of this inspection.
